PAJAM Presents Sing To The Lord Available January 30
MOBILE, Ala. – January 23, 2007 – PAJAM, one of urban and gospel music’s most in-demand production teams, has created a new worship CD for Integrity Gospel, PAJAM Presents Sing to the Lord. The CD, which offers a distinct urban gospel take on favorite contemporary praise and worship songs, releases on January 30.
With PAJAM Presents Sing to the Lord, the PAJAM production team of Paul “pda” Allen, Walter Kearney and J Moss created a collection of timeless and universal worship songs that incorporates the team’s signature style of weaving together traditional gospel, hip-hop, R&B and jazz as well as pop and funk for a CD that is more of an experience than just a music CD.
Allen, Kearney and Moss produced PAJAM Presents Sing to the Lord in Detroit, their home base and where they have worked previously with Destiny’s Child, N’Sync, Dru Hill, Backstreet Boys, Boys II Men, Michelle Williams, Kelly Price, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark-Sheard, Hezekiah Walker, the Mighty Clouds of Joys, Trinitee 5:7, Virtue and a host of many others.
PAJAM Presents Sing to the Lord features nine of the top Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) contemporary praise and worship songs including Paul Baloche’s “Open the Eyes of My Heart,” Darlene Zschech’s “Worthy is the Lamb,” Jared Anderson’s “Rescue” and Darrell Evans classic “Trading My Sorrows.” The musical diversity of the CD is enhanced by two new original songs – “Father” written by Allen and “There All the Time” written by J. Moss.
“We had a vision of creating a record that takes these great worship songs and ignites a new spirit and soul into them,” said Kearney. “We’ve infused this CD with our urban gospel perspective, but kept the essence and spirit of the original compositions because they were all great songs to begin with. We just gave it the PAJAM insurance!”
PAJAM put together a studio ensemble of vocalists for the project which included Leya Derrickson, Monique Lee and Torrence Greene and Evin Martin of PAJAM vocal group 21:03. Jorel Quinn of 21:03 and Lowell Pye also contributed vocals.

PAJAM Presents Sing to the Lord represents the first time the famed producers are working with Integrity. Executive Producer for the record, Don Moen, who is also president of Integrity Music, could not be more thrilled to have the trio of producers release a CD for the label.
