Washington, D.C. - As millions prepare to converge on Washington , DC for the Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States of America , Barack Obama, the Inaugural Prayer Breakfast Coalition presents a summit in observance and preparation of one of the most historic moments in world history.

The Inauguration Summit will offer a series of events beginning with the Inauguration Celebration Gospel Concert at Free Gospel Deliverance Temple , 4703 Marlboro Pike, Capitol Heights , MD 20743 on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at 6:00 pm, featuring a host of the nation's top gospel artists including Micah Stampley, Beverly Crawford, and V3.  The following day, which ironically is Martin Luther King Jr., day, Monday, January 19, 2008 at 8:30 a.m., U.S. Senate Chaplain Dr. Barry Black will host the Inauguration Prayer Breakfast at the Hyatt Regency Capital Hill, Washington DC. Guest speakers will include Bishop Charles Blake, Bishop Vashti McKenzie, and Pastor Tony Evans,.
 
"Standing on the basic philosophy of the inclusive nature of the Obama campaign, the concert and breakfast provide a unique experience during the inaugural week for prayer for the President-elect Obama and his family and the many issues confronting him and our country," comments Rev. Shelley Henderson, founder of the Inauguration Coalition and The First Ladies Summit.  "It is the coalition's belief that Washington will be changed for the better because of the prayers that go forth during this prayer breakfast. The concert will provide attendees with an affordable space for praise, worship and celebration in the midst of all of the other inaugural balls taking place that week."

ABOUT SHELLEY HENDERSON
Shelley is the founder of Jointly Fit Ministries Int'l, a ministry dedicated to "ministering to the minister".  She is also the host and founder of The First Ladies Summit.  Shelley was appointed by President George W.
